Construction company

Enrique P.

After studying civil engineering, 36-year-old Enrique worked in various construction companies to gain professional experience. He first worked in companies in the social housing sector and later in the tourism sector - always looking for experience, but always with the aim of becoming self-employed. While working in a cement factory, he made valuable contacts with various people responsible for the largest cement projects in Nicaragua. As manager of a company that manufactures antennas, Enrique was also able to gain management experience. In 2014, he finally felt ready to start his own construction company.

Project description

At first, he only devoted himself to his own business in his spare time and employed an engineer. In 2018, he quit his job and only wanted to dedicate himself to his own business. Due to the political crisis, he unfortunately had to close down at the time and was only able to resume his plans in 2020.

Enrique has already attended BPN seminars and realized that the organization of his company is not yet at the level he had hoped for. He has recognized the potential and can now estimate sales more realistically in order to operate profitably. Enrique is looking forward to further support from BPN, particularly in the areas of sales and customer service. In the future, Enrique would also like to gain customers abroad, win larger companies as customers and conclude maintenance contracts.
