Quail breeding

Gabriela V.

Gabriela originally studied law and worked for the government in the commercial sector and for a construction company. When she became a mother during the national crisis in 2018 and lost her previous job, Gabriela started to think about her future. In the end, she decided to take the plunge into self-employment together with her husband. The couple bought some quails, which they reared in their own backyard to sell their eggs.

Project description

Gabriela was contacted by a debtor from previous transactions who offered to settle his outstanding invoices with her by handing over a plot of land on very favorable terms. This was very convenient for the entrepreneur for the further development of her company. By taking out a loan, she started building up an industrial quail farm on the new plot of land.

Although Gabriela and her husband already have a solid basic knowledge of business management, they have already taken advantage of a few BPN offers and found them extremely helpful. They have learned to be more methodical, to write down tasks and define them more clearly, and not to lose sight of the financial overview. Gabriela plans not only to sell the quail eggs in the future, but also to offer the manure as fertilizer and resell the quail as meat and animal feed.
