Dental center

Helder T.

Helder runs a dental practice in Managua. His wife also studied dentistry and occasionally helps out in his practice. Helder, who is now 50, studied in Leon and worked for an NGO in Managua for three years after completing his civilian service on the Atlantic coast. With some savings, he was able to buy some dental equipment and finally opened his own dental practice in 1998. Helder continued to work part-time for the NGO for a few years. Today, he works exclusively in his own practice.

Project description

Helder continued his education, including exams in the USA. Helder is very competent as a dentist. However, he is aware that he has little expertise in administrative matters. That is why he sought help from BPN and wants to close this gap. Helder's vision is not to become an old dentist that customers no longer want to go to. Instead, he plans to transform his dental practice into a small dental center. In this center, other dentists will be able to benefit and learn from his extensive professional experience. He would like to offer training courses and even set up further branches and manage the company as an expert and administrator. In his current practice, Helder offers dental repairs that are not available anywhere else in Nicaragua.

Helder is very motivated and has already changed a few things in his business, such as hiring an administrative assistant. This gives him more time to devote to growing the business.
