Sale of medical infrastructure

Ana M.

Ana is 27 years old and studied medicine. She met her current business partner Rosa during an internship. After this internship, they decided to set up a business offering medical infrastructure. At the time, they had 300 dollars at their disposal and a good contact in the USA who was able to supply them with various modern devices. However, as Ana and her business partner had no business knowledge and their business was growing rapidly, Ana decided to participate in our BPN program.

Project description

Their business has now been officially registered since 2016. The two businesswomen were also able to establish further important contacts with private clinics and public hospitals in Nicaragua. Through their contact person in the USA, Ana and her team also receive relevant information on the latest equipment and thus stay up to date.

The two had already taken part in several individual coaching sessions. These helped them to better structure the rapidly growing business and apply marketing principles. As a doctor, Ana has no experience in finance and business management. It was therefore a crucial step for her to get to know the right tools and apply them to her business. The business plan also helped her to systematize her ideas. We are convinced that Ana and her business partner can build a sustainable business with these prerequisites.
