Restaurant

Leslie O.

Leslie is 36 years old, married to Jessica and together they have one child - that's actually 2 if you count their own business. In 2017, the couple took the opportunity to run a restaurant serving typical Nicaraguan breakfasts because the owner was emigrating abroad. Leslie ran the restaurant for 2 years and also invested his own money in the business. In the end, Leslie and his wife were able to take over the restaurant completely from the previous owner.

Project description

Because they had some friction in their day-to-day business as a couple, Jessica looked for a job at another company. However, she continues to support Leslie in the area of finance and also in day-to-day business on days when demand is particularly high. Leslie has since been able to open 2 more restaurants, always financed by her own funds.

Due to the rapid growth, Leslie realized that he needed better control tools for his operations. Looking for guidance, he came to BPN and is very grateful for the tools he is learning about in our program. Leslie has realized that he has a very clear and strong positioning and that it would be wrong to weaken it by offering a broader range of food. In the future, Leslie plans to improve the infrastructure of his operations and open another location as well as rent the building next door to the first restaurant in order to have more space.
