Booked

Bulganbaatar A.

Bulganbaatar has always been a passionate baker and baked bread and cakes at home for her children. Three years ago, her relatives emigrated to Japan and offered their bakery for sale. For Bulganbaatar, this was the ideal opportunity to realize her long-cherished dream. And so Bulganbaatar, who trained as a kindergarten teacher, has been successfully running her own bakery for 3 years. Her daughter is currently studying in Japan and plans to take over the business in the future.

Project description

Together with her team, Bulganbaatar produces 2 main products in the bakery: walnut-cranberry cakes and buttercream rolls. Together with her daughter, she recently developed and successfully launched a new product: small packaged cakes with a creamy spread for schoolchildren. The products are characterized by the fact that they are made from local, fresh ingredients using Japanese technology. The products are sold in large supermarket chains in the city of Ulaanbaatar. Production takes place in a rented 100 square meter hall, which is equipped with the necessary equipment.

In the future, Bulganbaatar would like to expand production and the product range and develop sales channels in order to reach even more customers. One of her target segments is corporate orders. Sometimes she receives orders from organizations for coffee breaks. To meet this demand, they would need additional equipment such as cutting and packaging machines. Bulganbaatar has little experience in business management and has joined BPN to further develop her company and professionalize processes.
