Uyangahkuu L.

Uyangakhuu originally trained in the field of computer science. However, she has had a passion for fashion since childhood and dreamed of working as a fashion designer. Before taking the plunge into self-employment, she gained valuable experience in her brother's company, which specialized in the production and export of cashmere clothing. Inspired by this work, she decided to pursue her long-cherished dream and founded her own fashion company in 2020.

Project description

Today, Uyangakhuu creates a wide range of garments for men and women, made from 100% cotton, sheep's wool and cashmere. All products are knitted and sewn with dedication and Uyangakhuu is responsible for the design. Uyangakhuu sells her exclusive pieces mainly via Facebook and in her own store. She sources the raw materials from Korea and is supported in production by a team that professionally implements her design ideas.

Uyangakhuu currently runs a multi-faceted fashion business and uses a range of different materials. To ensure the sustainable growth of her business, she recognizes the need to specialize the product range and occupy a more distinct market niche. With this in mind, she is considering focusing on knitwear in particular and limiting the product range to outerwear such as sweaters, vests and cardigans. Uyangakhuu is currently concentrating on the Mongolian market, but she dreams of one day exporting her products abroad.
