Felt shoes

Rentsenkhand T.

Rentsenkhand trained as a teacher and worked as a flight attendant before switching to the fashion industry. She gained several years of professional experience in fashion design and finally realized that her true passion was not clothes, but shoes. So she decided to set up her own shoe company.

Rentsenkhand specialized in the production of felt shoes and opened her own company in 2019. Felt shoes are traditionally widespread in Mongolia. However, Rentsenkhand is reinterpreting this tradition and producing her felt shoes with a modern design and look. She now has her own production and sales premises.

Project description

The shoes that Rentsenkhand produces are made of Mongolian felt and are suitable for all seasons. She makes them in the traditional way, so that the felt shoes are made without seams. Apart from the wool, she sources all the other materials she needs from China. With a wide range of felt shoes, Rentsenkhand tries to meet the needs of all her customers. Her collection includes both children's shoes and shoes for adults. She currently runs a modern retail store in Ulaanbaatar.

She is planning to enter the export market in Europe in the future and is currently looking for suitable business partners for this market entry. She is particularly interested in business management training at the BPN Foundation and is looking forward to attending the seminars. Rentsenkhand is very committed and motivated. We wish her every success on her journey!
