Party decorations

Oyungerel B.

Oyungerel is a trained Korean teacher. After her studies, she moved to South Korea and trained as a balloon artist. As there was a lack of professional balloon artists in Mongolia at the time, she recognized this gap in the market and founded her own company in 2011. She can now look back on more than 13 years of experience in this profession.

Project description

In the beginning, Oyungerel received commissions via social media such as Facebook and Instagram as well as through recommendations from her circle of friends. She worked from home and did not have a permanent studio. In 2022, however, she rented a 160 m² store and opened her first store, where she now sells various balloons, party decorations and sweets.

Oyungerel would like to expand its team in the future: Additional decorators and customer service staff will ensure a more professional service. She is also planning new services such as working with convenience stores in Mongolia to offer do-it-yourself balloon kits. She is also considering selling party supplies online and printing balloons with company logos to expand her service offering. To further expand her business, Oyungerel wants to join the BPN program and continue her education through seminars and coaching. Her main customers are currently private individuals looking for decoration items for various celebrations (birthdays, weddings, parties, etc.).
