Dishwashing soaps

Mungunsar K.

Mungunsar worked as a Korean language interpreter and tour guide before starting her own business. While Mungunsar was working as a tour guide, tourists kept telling her that there were so few local products in Mongolia. This motivated her to set up her own company four years ago. Mungunsar wants to reduce plastic waste and encourage people to behave more ecologically. That is why she decided to develop environmentally friendly soaps - without chemical additives and without plastic packaging. To gain her in-depth expertise, she trained as a Professional Soap Maker in South Korea.

Project description

Mungunsar offers its customers dishwashing soaps in 3 different flavors. She also has washing powder for clothes and children's soap as a bath additive and detergent in her range. She also sells dishwashing sponges made by women at home. Her customers particularly appreciate the natural substances against grease and oils - without chemical foaming, coloring and odor substances and without plastic packaging. Their soaps lather and clean well and are inexpensive. Mungunsar sells her products through various supermarkets and some organic stores in Ulaanbaatar and partly in the countryside, as well as via Facebook.

Mungunsar would like to further expand its range in the future, for example with shampoo soaps and eco body care products for men and women and eco tabs for dishwashers. The demand for natural products is constantly increasing in Mongolia. Mungunsar therefore sees an opportunity to grow her company further. The BPN seminars keep motivating her to continue and further develop her company, as she tells us.
