Soy wax candles

Ikhbayar K.

The 37-year-old Ikhbayar studied in Mongolia and successfully completed a Master's degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Around ten years ago, she deepened her marketing knowledge in London. During this time, she enjoyed particularly beautiful candles. Back in Mongolia, she unfortunately no longer found such a varied and beautiful selection - which is how her current business idea came about. Ikhbayar started making candles herself and has been running her own soy wax candle production company since 2015. A year ago, Ikhbayar even trained as a candle specialist in Japan.

Project description

Ikhbayar produces its exclusive candles from soy wax, vegan, natural and fragrant. Soy wax is a vegetable wax obtained from the oil of soybeans. Ikhbayar uses various soothing fragrances: jasmine, ginger, watermelon, lemon, lavender, etc. Ikhbayar sells her handmade candles in jars, tins or as tea lights in larger supermarkets and online. Her customers are mainly women from Ulaanbaatar. The standard of candle production is certified by a state laboratory.

Ikhbayar would like to focus even more on customer needs in the future. She wants to produce customized candles with names, special words, logos, etc. She would also like to expand her range with flower and decorative candles for festive occasions. In the medium term, she would like to sell her products in her own stores in Ulaanbaatar. Ikhabayar is happy to have BPN's support for this project in the form of personal coaching.
