Silver bowls & porcelain cups

Buyankhishig B.

Before starting her own business, Buyankhishig worked as a translator and interpreter for Japanese. She founded her current company 10 years ago. She started the business together with her husband and a handful of employees. Even back then, Buyankhishig produced traditional silver bowls and porcelain cups, which she has kept in her range to this day. Her company has grown over the years and now employs 20 people. The start of the company was challenging because Buyankhishig lacked the knowledge to run the business at the time.

Project description

In addition to silver bowls and porcelain cups, Buyankhishig also produces traditional teapots made of copper, brass or white copper. The unique design of the products meets individual customer requirements. Buyankhishig benefits from her company's good reputation and various regular customers. She sells her products mainly in Ulaanbaatar and sometimes also in the Mongolian countryside. Buyankhishig attaches particular importance to the standardized quality of her products. Her customers also appreciate the diverse selection and additional services such as repairs, product modifications and the delivery service.

In the future, Buyankhishig would like to expand her range with products in a modern design and for religious rituals. She would also like to sell attractive product sets. Buyankhishig has a lot of professional experience, but would like to run her business even more professionally. That is why she decided to take part in the BPN program. She needs business management knowledge and attends seminars and takes advantage of coaching.
