Ophthalmology clinic

Batchimeg B.

Six years ago, Batchimeg founded her own ophthalmology clinic, which is now located in a rented building in Ulaanbaatar. Batchimeg currently employs five doctors there.

Batchimeg completed her training as an ophthalmologist in Seoul, South Korea. There she also made contact with the volunteer organization "Vision Care". When she opened her own eye clinic back in Mongolia, she decided to work with this organization to offer free eye examinations in her own clinic. Before starting her own business, Batchimeg worked at a state eye clinic in Ulaanbaatar for several years and attended international training courses (China, India, USA and England).

Project description

The decision to set up her own company was the right one for Batchimeg. The 47-year-old loves her job because she can pass on what she has learned and, as managing director, she can decide on the right services herself. Batchimeg wants to provide the best vision for every customer. Her services include preliminary examinations, diagnoses and eye operations (laser vision correction and lens implants). Her customers particularly appreciate the high-quality services, the short waiting times and the friendly, pleasant environment.

In the future, Batchimeg would like to be one of the leading eye clinics in Mongolia. To this end, it is planning to expand its services, e.g. with surgical procedures on the retina. Batchimeg attends seminars at BPN and takes advantage of coaching sessions. Above all, she would like to improve her business management skills.
