Honey production

Odonchimeg J.

Odonchimeg produces honey products in combination with various fruits or nuts, such as sea buckthorn, berries, cranberries or pine nuts. Odonchimeg regards the raw materials as a "gift from Mother Nature" and only uses national and organic products to enrich its honey. The sharp and sour taste of the fruit goes perfectly with the sweet honey and makes the products unique. The entrepreneur would like to position her business even better in the Mongolian market. She has therefore decided to join our BPN program.

Project description

After elementary school, the 43-year-old studied international trade and business administration in the USA. After graduating, she returned to Mongolia and worked in various jobs. For example, she worked as a field service manager and as a human resources manager. Three years ago, she decided to set up her own company and produce honey products.

Odonchimeg's customers are mainly women from Ulaanbaatar. The entrepreneur wants to continuously expand the range in the future. She recently developed two new types of honey and launched them on the market: honey with rose petals and blackberries. Odonchimeg is constantly researching international food trends in order to develop further products. It is also looking into the possibility of exporting its products abroad. The demand for natural and healthy products in Mongolia is there and will continue to grow in the future. In addition, its customers prefer domestic raw materials.
