The entrepreneur is a master carpenter and has more than 18 years of professional experience in furniture manufacturing. His professional career began in 2004 with an apprenticeship in carpentry. After completing an internship in 2006, he finished his apprenticeship in 2007 and subsequently gained extensive experience in the furniture industry. He later completed additional training as a telecommunications engineer but, due to his strong affinity for hands-on work and wood as a material, decided to return to furniture production.

Throughout his career, Rashid has worked as a master craftsman and technologist in manufacturing facilities, furniture workshops, upholstered furniture production, and modern furniture manufacturing. This has allowed him to develop in-depth knowledge of the production of cabinetry, solid wood products, upholstered furniture, stairs, doors, and complex interior design solutions. Since 2017, he has been continuously developing his own workshop and now leads a team of three employees.

Through the BPN workshops, he began to view his company not just as a workshop, but as a scalable project with potential for growth. With BPN’s support, he hopes to drive the modernization of his business, streamline internal processes, and sustainably realize his long-term vision of a high-performing furniture company.

Project description

The project involves operating a furniture workshop that produces high-quality furniture and custom interior design solutions. Production specializes in furniture made from laminated particleboard, veneer, and solid wood. In addition, the workshop creates retail displays, boutique interiors, interior design elements, staircases, doors, upholstered furniture, and custom solutions for both residential and commercial clients. Major clients include middle- and high-income families, as well as owners of cafés, restaurants, offices, and commercial spaces.

Sales are conducted directly through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Threads, as well as through design agencies and customer referrals. A distinctive feature of the company is its combination of artisanal precision, many years of experience, and high quality standards. Natural wood—especially oak—plays a key role in this, as it symbolizes durability, value, and sustainable use.

Today, the workshop has well-organized production processes and a small, well-coordinated team. The next step in its development is to modernize and automate its processes. Plans include investments in new equipment, such as milling machines and a spray booth. This is expected to significantly speed up production processes, improve precision, and increase order volume without compromising the high quality of the products. In the long term, the goal is to establish a modern furniture company with a complete production cycle that is characterized by quality, reliability, and professionalism.
