After many years as a teacher, methodologist, and entrepreneur, Gulnara took a significant step in 2022: she founded a preschool facility in her neighborhood in Bishkek. Inspired by her own grandchildren and the palpable need of working parents for reliable childcare, she realized her vision of a kindergarten that combines family warmth with educational professionalism.

Today, her facility cares for around 35 children aged between one year and school age. The concept emphasizes independence, toilet training, and a structured daily routine, with folding beds for afternoon naps and freshly prepared meals from the in-house kitchen.

Project description

Despite her close family ties, Gulnara consistently ensures that the same rules and respectful treatment apply to all children, a clear sign of her professional attitude.

The ten-strong team of specialists lives these values every day. With a growing catchment area, increasing demands, and growing competition, the facility positions itself through safety, security, and the combination of modern methods with Kyrgyz traditions. Gulnara works closely with her daughter-in-law to gradually introduce her to management. Thanks to the support of BPN, she is planning further expansion, the creation of new jobs, and wants to offer even more children a loving, safe place to grow up.
