Ainura, 42, has professional experience in the hotel and restaurant industry, where she worked as an administrator and manager. In 2016, she ventured into self-employment and specialized in working with tourists. She acquired a large property, idyllically located in the breathtaking mountains of Alay. As international tourists often found no accommodation during the summer months, Ainura decided to convert her house into a guesthouse. She renovated the building, set up a dining room and several bedrooms, and finally opened her own guesthouse.
Today, Ainura offers accommodation, meals, transfers and excursions for tourists during the 3-4 month summer season. In the winter months, the mountain roads in the border triangle of Kyrgyzstan, China and Tajikistan are often impassable due to heavy snowfall. Ainura was recently able to attract a private investor who is prepared to invest in the expansion of further facilities. With his financial support and BPN's advice, Ainura is planning an extensive expansion of its operations. This includes the construction of 4 additional huts, the opening of a café, the construction of a sauna and cooperation with travel agencies.
In order to increase the guesthouse's occupancy rate and extend its operating hours, Ainura would like to extend its services to the local border police, long-distance truck drivers, the local population and employees of the nearby coal mine. It also plans to convert yurts into cooking facilities and purchase a four-wheel drive vehicle for transfers and tours. These measures will create additional jobs for the local community and offer them a decent wage. To further professionalize her business and attract more tourists, Ainura is looking forward to the BPN seminars in business management and human resources.
