Merim I.

Merim is an economist by training and has worked in various state institutions and a bank. However, as she loves children, she had long harbored the desire to open a kindergarten. Together with her partner at the time, she dared to make this wish a reality. After the separation, she took over the building and opened her own kindergarten, which she has been running as a limited company since January 2022. Merim is responsible for managing the kindergarten, working closely with a specialist appointed as pedagogical director in the areas of education and training.

Project description

With slightly higher fees than other kindergartens in the area, Merim finances a wide range of activities and teaching programs. These include music, English and taekwondo lessons as well as excursions and cooking classes. In addition, the all-day kindergarten offers 4 meals a day. In the future, Merim plans to build a network of kindergartens with additional educational opportunities, a physical development complex with psychological support for parents and children and a center for the training and further education of preschool staff.

Merim decided to complete the BPN program in order to put her institution and her plans for the future on a sound entrepreneurial and business management footing. She has already successfully attended the basic seminar "Management".

Credit: With the request for a credit in the amount of 8,500$, she would like to procure additional pedagogically valuable teaching material.
