After training as an English teacher in Moscow, Gulbubu, a mother of five, worked as an English interpreter. In Russia, she found good kindergartens and elementary school for her children. Since then, she has cherished the dream of setting up something similar in her home country of Kyrgyzstan. She therefore founded a private kindergarten in Bishkek in 2014. Gulbubu's eldest son is already 16 years old and actively helps out in her business.

The building for the kindergarten was rented in a densely populated residential area and first had to be thoroughly renovated. Gulbubu now has a very nice building and ten employees (around half of whom are part-time).

Project description

Her kindergarten is currently running at full capacity and can accommodate up to 120 children. It now also offers a crèche, school preparation courses, development lessons and chess courses. Its services are used by children aged between 1.5 and 7 years.

Gulbubu plans to open a second branch and expand its services in around five years' time with an elementary school for children up to 4th grade. With the help of the loan, she has decided to finance kitchen equipment and a children's playground.

Gulbubu has already attended several BPN seminars and is particularly interested in individual coaching and basic business training. Her kindergarten is running well and enjoys a positive image. However, there is still room for improvement in the areas of marketing and employee management. In the BPN seminars, she wants to learn how to professionalize her advertising activities and business management.
