Nursing and retirement home

Svetlana K.

Svetlana has a big heart for disadvantaged people. She started her own business around ten years ago when she and a business partner set up a charitable foundation to care for the elderly and people with disabilities. Their services were in increasing demand, so the two opened an institution for people in need of care. Between 2017 and 2018, they expanded with two more branches. Their business partner took over these shortly afterwards, while Svetlana set up her own care and retirement home. Today, she can already provide inpatient care for ten people. Her husband is also involved in the business and is responsible for staff training.

Svetlana has already completed several BPN seminars and is very keen to put what she has learned into practice in her day-to-day business. She would like to continue her training in business management and would particularly like our support in the areas of leadership and coaching.

Project description

Her clients are primarily elderly people and people in need of care. She cares for dementia patients and those affected by a stroke or chronic illness.

The trained social worker and psychologist is now focusing on officially registering her business. She is planning more room capacity and soon wants to offer around 30 therapy places. The 55-year-old sees a great need for day care for people of advanced age. The entrepreneur is also in the process of setting up an escort and transportation service so that people in need of care have more freedom of movement.
