Project description

In 2016, the time had come: she registered her own small tourism company. Since then, she has been offering original city tours in Bishkek for English-speaking tourists - all about the history, art and architecture of her home city. Rakhat wants to offer new unique tourism services (mountain tours, cultural, adventure, event tourism). Her goal is to explore interesting and new areas and create new programs and events together with the tourists: Cooking classes for local dishes, courses in felting, installing a yurt, participating in national folk games, trips to the mountains with a biologist or zoologist, night trips with an astronomer, trips to former industrial towns. Ecotourism is not neglected in their planning either: together with specialists, suitable areas are sought out and the flora and fauna studied. Rakhat would also like to offer animal and bird watching tours, as well as hikes with an educational component, trekking, camping, horse riding and cycling tours. In order to preserve the unique nature around Bishkek, her company works together with the local population and young people.

Rakhat has already attended several BPN seminars. She is interested in BPN's basic business management training and coaching. Her business works well, but she doesn't have enough order in her financial accounting. In the BPN seminars, she wants to learn how she can get a better overview of marketing, expenses and income and how she can run her business more professionally.
