Project description

She has six years' experience as a private entrepreneur and ten years as a seamstress. Raisa has been working for many years with two large clients who supply her with patterns and fabrics. Her products are destined exclusively for export to Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Raisa rents her production premises on the outskirts of Bishkek. She offers her employees fair employment conditions and there is low fluctuation among the seamstresses.

Raisa's sewing machines are outdated, need regular repairs and the quality of the products is suffering. She plans to buy additional sewing machines and replace some of the old ones in order to increase production volume and shorten production time. Twenty employees work in the sewing shop. In the summer months, they produce 250 children's blouses every day, and from September to March, 60-70 spring and winter jackets every day.

In future, Raisa would like to develop its own models and sell them directly on the market (via stores). Raisa plans to negotiate directly with school administrators and produce uniforms for schoolchildren. To this end, she will take part in official tenders in the future. She knows the market and customer needs very well and has a broad network of suppliers and buyers.

Raisa is very interested in the basic business knowledge of BPN. She still has little structure in her bookkeeping and would like to learn how to run her business professionally.
