In 2012, Mariam founded a tailoring business together with a family member. In the Middle Ages, when Georgia was an important transit point on the route from Iran to Byzantium, "funduki" were hostels where artists and craftspeople rested and presented and sold their products. In the same way, Mariam's tailoring studio sees itself as an association of creative people who offer their customers high-quality designer clothing, bags and decorative furniture. Modern, multifunctional and minimalist creations made from high-quality and environmentally friendly materials.
Responding to individual customer wishes and providing a courteous service are Mariam's top priorities. Mariam's tailoring products are currently sold in her own store in Tbilisi, via social media platforms, in various local online stores and on a global online marketplace.
Mariam's customers are modern, progressive people who want to express their individuality in style. They also include Georgian companies looking for fashionable clothing for their employees and Western tourists. As the latter have declined sharply due to the outbreak of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, Mariam is looking for new customer segments and sources of income. She wants to expand the target segment and offer accessories, clothing and gift sets in the mid-range segment in addition to the premium segment.
Mariam is a very responsible and determined person. Our opinion and advice are very important to her. She is ready for change and we are happy to accompany her.
