Children and youth camps

Khatuna A.

Khatuna has more than 2 decades of experience in educational work with children and youth. Among other things, she was vice principal at an international school in Tbilisi. There she repeatedly encountered parents from the Georgian middle class who were very concerned about a good education for their children, but had difficulties keeping their children occupied in a meaningful way during the long summer vacations. Inspired by this concrete need, Khatuna founded her own company, which offers a recreational program for children and young people aged 7 to 15.

Training and coaching CHF 250 per month over 2 years

Project description

The program aims to develop participants' imagination and creativity through experiential learning in a supportive environment. The overarching goal is to impart creative and entrepreneurial skills, which are becoming increasingly important in the 21st century labor market. At the same time, Khatuna aims to close existing gaps in the state education system with its non-formal education program.

So far, the focus has been on activities in the summer months, but there are plans to expand the offer to include regular weekend camps. In order to realize this vision, Khatuna is training additional tutors, developing a user-friendly website and intensifying its marketing activities on social media. She is also looking for other suitable locations for her children's camps.

Khatuna is hard-working, inquisitive and highly motivated to drive her company forward. She has worked intensively on a comprehensive business plan. Khatuna has also taken advantage of BPN's coaching support to think together with BPN about how she can position her offer even better on the market.
